When I decided I’m going to start a new blog this year I started thinking - ok, I know that I want to write, but about what? What will my main topics be? Do I have to write only about this and this and this, or wouldn’t it be better to remove all restrictions on how I systematize my ideas? Stop thinking about that and just start writing and see how it goes after that.
I've had my instagram account for a long time and when I transformed it into a bookstagram profile that added so many rules for how it should look and when I should post, that I quickly burned out and posting there wasn't making me happy anymore.
I was so worried about how many likes I’m receiving and which type of photos are receiving more, that I forgot how important is for me to like these photos. And if they doesn't have many likes that doesn’t mean they’re bad or something. This doesn’t define how I should feel from my work.
The main idea of this post is I don’t have many followers and I’m not a social influencer who could give you the best advices if you want to be a social media star, but I can give you an advice for how to still be happy doing it and trying to get there. You HAVE to be happy with your content, you have to be happy not only with the result, you have to be excited with the process of making it too.
Sometimes it's good to stop overthinking, if you want to have a blog you don’t need to have perfect plan and post ideas for months in the future you just need to write one post or take just one shot! So go there, get a pen, take you camera or instrument and start creating something you love and which will make you happy, and you’ll see with practice you’ll become better and better and you’ll find the right people who will appreciate your work!
